CCCC Intellectual Property Annual
I am now in my sixth year of editing the CCCC Intellectual Property Annual, an online annual about the past year's major events and developments related to copyright and intellectual property, published by NCTE/CCCC on the Intellectual Property Committee website. Every year from 2006-2010, I have also written an article for the Annual. This publication is not peer reviewed, but as Editor, I do suggest revisions when I find them needed.
2006: Contributed one article to the Annual, "'Walled Gardens': How Copyright Law Can Impede Educators' Use of Digital Learning Materials," before assuming editorship.
2007: Edited the Annual and contributed one article, "The National Institutes of Health Open Access Mandate: Public Access for Public Funding."
2008: Edited the Annual and contributed one article, "Open Access in 2008: The Harvard Policy and the APA's Attempt to Profit from the NIH Open Access Mandate".
2009: Edited the Annual and contributed one article, "Two Competing Copyright Curricula: The 2009 Release of Intellectual Property Curricula from the Recording Industry Association of America and the Electronic Frontier Foundation."
2010: Edited the Annual and contributed one article, "Free and Open Textbooks in Rhetoric and Writing Studies."
2011: Edited the Annual.
