Fall break!
What I did over fall break:
- Attended a tailgate party for UNA's homecoming game and saw people I hadn't seen in about ten years
- Graded a set of papers
- Submitted a proposal for an edited collection
- Read Naked by David Sedaris (finally!)
- ...and more work to do before tomorrow, when my "break" is officially over
- ...and I still feel behind on just about everything.

Sedaris rule!
He just spoke in Orlando and was funnier than ever! Since he's signed all the books I have, I brought in the edited collection I'm teaching Expository Writing from and had him sign "The Drama Bug" there. He signed it above his picture, "I look so stupid here" then signed my fiance's book, "Everybody thinks you're terrific." Very fun!

Looks like you hadn't really had a break. All work and no play makes, well, life dumb. You read Naked by David Sedaris? Is it any good? My whole family has read it. They've been prodding me to read it for weeks now. I'll give it a shot tonight.
