Expect more light blogging until around the end of the week...the battle of the holiday bulge, Zadie Smith's White Teeth, preparing for next semester's classes, and a few other business items demand my attention at the moment.

Clancy, you left a comment on my blog that followed up on an e-mail I sent you... I haven't seen a response so I was a bit worried that perhaps we're still missing each other somehow. (I can never seem to get in touch with Matt Barton, too... does KairosNews do something to my e-mail filter?)
