The Matrix: Revolutions--WARNING! SPOILERS!
I am so freaking excited about The Matrix: Revolutions. Unfortunately, I won't get to see it until probably this weekend. I also really want to see Gothika.
Does anyone else think Neo might be a program? Or a human/program amalgam? The Architect told Neo he is "irrevocably human" when he's at the doorway to the source, but there seem to be other indicators that he's a program. I wrote them down the other night, but lost them.

could be a disappointment
or so i see from reading slashdot and following the reviews.
You're not the only one
We watched Reloaded with some friends this weekend and we discussed the possibility of Neo being a program - or a "robot," which seems maybe a bit less likely. There's also a popular hose theory that the group never really escapes the Matrix at the end of Revolutions, but are, in fact, still inside the program - which has been written to resemble the "Real World."
And as the anonymous poster before me points out, Revolutions is getting sad, sad reviews. Of course, that won't stop me from going to see it!

not bad at 'tall.
It's fun. The first film is still my favorite, but this one has its moments. (and the grrrls in it kick serious ass)
Sad that the trilogy's over
I liked it too. The battle scene was so intense, though. Some said that they cried when Trinity died, but I didn't. I did cry when Zee and Link were reunited, though. I got pretty attached to those two in a short time. :-) The whole thing was heart-pounding. One thing I thought was interesting was that someone at Slashdot pointed out that Morpheus did practically nothing in Revolutions to move the plot along. He or she said that George Lucas realized that Obi-Wan wasn't an integral character in one of the movies, so then went back to the previous movie's script and killed him off to avoid having Obi-Wan become an ineffectual bystander.
Of course, I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies, so I can't explain that very well. It would have been shocking for Morpheus to die in Reloaded, though. I would have been happy for a better payoff between Morpheus and Niobe than what was there, but then again I understand that their characters are supposed to be restrained and smoldering-below-the-surface.
ahh...you did see it
glad to see that i wasn't the only one who liked it, given all the bad reviews.
now we'll see what people think of my wacky reading :)

I saw it last night - and I did like it. I read some blogs about it before i went - many bad reviews - but I still liked it....and the deeper philosophical meanings in it...netwoman.
