Theme song from "The Fall Guy"

The other day, I posted about my love of 80s TV theme songs. In fact, that was exactly one week ago, and I was experiencing some Monday gloom. It's Monday again, and I'm slightly less gloomy, but I find myself thinking again of an 80s TV theme song I love, this time the one from "The Fall Guy":

The Fall Guy

Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,

But I've been seen with Farrah.

I'm never seen with anything less than a nine, so fine.

I've been on fire with Sally Field,

Gone fast with a girl named Bo,

But somehow they just don't end up as mine.

It's a death defyin' life I lead,

I take my chances.

I die for a livin' in the movies and TV.

But the hardest thing I ever do

Is watch my leadin' ladies

Kiss some other guy while I'm bandagin' my knee.

I might fall from a tall building,

I might roll a brand new car.

'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.

I never spend much time in school

But I taught ladies plenty.

It's true I hire my body out for pay, Hey Hey.

I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs,

Blown up for Raquel Welch.

But when I end up in the hay it's only hay, Hey Hey.

I might jump an open drawbridge,

Or Tarzan from a vine.

'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine.

I can blast that song in the car, sing along, and just generally rock out to it! What's the matter with me?

Where can I get it?

Hey Clance,

I've been looking for this song for years. It's my absolutely, positively FAVORITE theme song from the 80s (which stems probably from my intense crush on Lee Majors). Could you fill me in on where you got it?

S.

I've got it on CD. If you hav

I've got it on CD. If you have a quick-and-dirty way to tell me how to convert it to mp3--or a link that will give me directions, I can email it to you.

BJ and the Bear

The song that inhabits my brain is "BJ and the Bear." When I was about ten I put an old tape-recorder up to the TV set and recorded a bunch of theme songs, including CHIPS, Hawaii 5-0, and Lord knows what else. Thanks for the blast from the past. -- Dennis Jerz

80's theme songs

I blast it myself. On my iPod, I have almost every popular 80's theme song, from Three's Company to Knight Rider to Diff'rent Strokes - you name it. I blast them all. Whatever happened to great shows like those?
