Housing Update, or: Sweet Relief

Fabulous news: Assuming our applications are approved, my roommate and I are moving to a new place! It's going to be a little more expensive--(not much more though!), but worth every single penny. Check out what we get in return:'

• An apartment about twice the size of our current one
• Two bathrooms, not just one
• A dishwasher
• New carpet and vinyl
• On-site maintenance staff that respond the same day when asked to fix something (we know, we have two friends who have lived there over a year)
• A washer and dryer in the unit (not just washer and dryer connection--the actual appliances!)
• A ceiling fan, accent wall, or over-the-range microwave if we request it
• A swimming pool
• A weight room
• A tennis court
• Heating and AC, water, and trash pickup included in rent--and we don't even have to take our trash to the dumpster; they have a chute!

Aaah. Much better.
