Dancing in the A.M.

Since I started living by myself, I've taken to dancing in the mornings. Privacy is a wonderful thing. :D Does anyone else hop out of bed, crank up the music, and start dancing? Dance while you make coffee, etc? Here's one of my morning playlists:

US3 - Cantaloop
U2 - Numb
Tupac - California Love
Sugarcubes - Birthday
Stone Temple Pilots-Big Bang Baby
Rufus Wainwright - Instant Pleasure
Robbie Williams - Rock Dj
Peter Gabriel - Digging in the Dirt
The Notorious B.I.G. - Hypnotize
Mary J. Blige - Family Affair
Go-Gos - Head Over Heels
Eve featuring Gwen Stefani - Let Me Blow Your Mind
Big Tymers - Still Fly

I highly recommend it.

Danse Russe

I love the image of you dancing. You probably know William Carlos Williams "Danse Russe", a favorite of mine. Check it out here if you don't: http://www.americanpoems.com/poets/williams/1334

John Lovas

Well.

I don't dance grotesquely. ;)

Dancing

Well, Garrett does. He dances in the car while sitting, dances while brushing his teeth, dances while walking at the pool. Music is not a requirement for him although music will make him dance. Dancing is good. I miss going OUT to dance, though.

I am embarrassingly prone to dancing to the most recent "Now That's What I Call Music" disc early in the morning =P.

How's the move to the Twin Cities coming? Let me know if you need any help.

Sorry, that was me. But it *has* been a while since I've posted without signing!

Dance away!

Guilty pleasure and dance inducer: Mr. Blue Sky by ELO.

Though morning is not the time for dancing. Morning is a heavy walk across the hall, a hot shower and a fuzzy car ride.

Maybe it will be windows open, wind blowing and Evil Women blaring. Unseasonally cool weather does that to me.
