Last book bought: Charmed Circle: Gertrude Stein and Company, for one dollar, used. It's got the dust jacket and everything -- great photos of Picasso, Alice B. Toklas, Gertrude Stein, Leo Stein, etc.

Last Crush: How much time have you got? Okay, the crushes that are uppermost in my mind right now are: early 70s John Kerry, E., a guy I met when I was home (uppermost because it's reciprocal), and another unnamed person who makes me laugh nearly every day and who, although he doesn't know it, inspired a recent epiphany: I am never again going to enter into a relationship with someone who isn't funny. Either make me laugh, a lot, or I'm gone.

Last Time Showered: 4:00 this morning (had to hit the road early for the plane ride home...the trip that was delayed six full hours. I'll never get that sleep back!)

Last CD Played: This Is Me...Then by Jennifer Lopez. I like the music, but the grammar error in the title drives me nuts. Pronouns used as predicate nominatives should be in the nominative case, not the objective case!!!

Last Annoyance: people standing/sitting too close to me at the airport and taking too long to get their crap out of the overhead storage bins when de-planing
Last Disappointment: When I was home, one of my good friends didn't return my calls. I know she's busy and I shouldn't take it personally, but I was still disappointed.
