Knitting Projects?
Any ideas on what I can do with this yarn? It's all merino wool except the two skeins on the right, which are ballet yarn. I've earmarked the red merino wool (I have more of it than what's pictured here) for a scarf and hat set...for myself! I never knit anything for myself, but that's all about to change. This isn't my whole stash of yarn, by the way; I have much more. :) Right now, I'm working on three projects: a baby blanket, the red hat/scarf set, and my first-ever felting project, a big oven mitt, made out of forest green wool yarn.

I want someone to knit the st
I want someone to knit the striped scarf in the new knitter's magazine. You can do it in 3 or 5 colors (http://www.knittinguniverse.com/xrx/knitters/GalleryDetail.php?IssueNum=76&ID=418 ). It has a matching scarf. The orange looks perfect for it! Right now I am working on a baby scarf and hat and a Noro self rolling hat (which is really fun and damn cute if I have to say so myself).
What to do with your yarn
Send it to Darwin, Minnesota, and they can add it to the World's largest ball of yarn. Help the yarn ball get even bigger.
I'd say definitely make yours
I'd say definitely make yourself something (for a change!) - I love the ballet yarn.*sigh* I feel so remiss - I haven't done any knitting in several months, even though I have nice, soft yarn and a stupidly simple baby blanket pattern I'd meant to use . . . oh, well.

Yarn for sale
I recently acquired a ton of yarn. All of which is very expensive, latest up to date styles and colors, and all imported. I bought a knitting machine (since I don't know how to knit) thinking I would utilize some of this beautiful yarn. I hae not yet. I was wondering if someone may know of someone who may really enjoy this yarn. I'm not an e-bay type of person, and I'm not really up to a yarn yard sale. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is this really the world's largest ball of yarn? or is it the biggest in minnesota? If so why don't u put it in the guiness book of world records??
