i don't know if she's at that level of commercial success yet, but it would certainly be nice.

i thought of her because i too like wanda sykes and usually think of her as a woman comedian, with the emphasis on her gender, even though a lot of her act isn't overtly pointed with regard to it. but bamford certainly is a feminist-friendly comic. you absolutely have to hear her voices - she does these scathing, uncanny impressions of widely recognizable female types. suspect types, needless to say.

if i remember right she grew up in minnesota!
