If Mohammed can't come to the mountain, etc. I really don't want to lose comments here because of spambots, so I'm going ahead and creating accounts for a lotta youze, complete with easy-to-remember passwords, signatures, and custom-photoshopped-with-love, created-especially-for-you-based-on-stuff-you-like avatars. Think of it as a special invitation. :-) So far I've only created accounts for Jonathan (blog), Prof. B. (blog), Tutor (blog), and Jenny (blog). I've got more people in mind, like Rana, Cindy, Krista, Michelle, Chuck, and many others. I'm creating accounts for people who, to my knowledge, don't have accounts at Kairosnews or any other Drupal sites.

How do you like this one? It's Elizabeth from the cover of Sweet Valley High #14, Deceptions. In that book, Elizabeth is tempted to cheat on her lovely boyfriend Todd Wilkins with a new boy in town, Nicholas Morrow. :)

I am flattered and pleased that Clancy included me in her outreach. Candidia Cruikshanks, Missy Proctor, and Chastity Powers do not do justice to women. Although, let's face it, Candidia has broken through every glass ceiling there ever was, making even Condi Rice look like a loser. Anyway, I want to thank you Clancy for not making me an Object Lesson. You and Arete are my alibi. Spambots? I simply thought you'd developed an overnight enthusiasm for online poker and Cialis. In that context, your recent downage gave me quite the start (I thought of calling around the casinos).

That said, I am on board with the account and spanking new avatar, although maybe I should request you create one for me, as mine is looking all sepia'd and unnecessarily surly. I swear I'm more smiley and colorful in person!

You might also download and install the subscriptions module so that those who are registered and post a comment can easily subscribe to that weblog post to be notified of new conversation. IMHO, this is a very good incentive for posting as a registered user.

I put a link to freshcomp.net in your signature so that it would be displayed in your comments. When you were posting that comment, did you delete the signature? I noticed that it's still stored, so it should be showing up under your comments. I just wondered if I should report this to the Drupal forum. When you're posting a comment, do you see the a href tag and your URL?

Also, wolfangel -- I just noticed your Kitties category! I'll pick something good. :-)
