I really, really want to own Kiss' Smashes, Thrashes, and Hits on CD. I've wanted it for some time. Why don't I just go to Cheapo discs and pick it up? I'm sure they have a used copy.

I don't think I could narrow it down! I wax hugely nostalgic over KISS. Brit and I saw them in concert about eight years ago. (He'd seen them before -- the first tour out of make-up.) Maybe Detroit Rock City or Rock and Roll All Night. I confess for years and years and years it was Beth. (What a sentimental sap I was! ;))

...just about anything with "loud" in the title and from the 70's when they still used those analog amps that had so much texture. You just can't get those anymore. Hell, you couldn't in the 80's. Did anyone have the Kiss comic books? Those guys were marketing wizards --action figures, even a movie. I tried to convince my wife to get a Kiss Army jean jacket recently. No dice.
