But what can it possibly mean, this thing about the pony? And what's with this impossibly hyperbolic praise on the back? A "brilliant novel" about being "catapulted into a maelstrom of intrigue and scandal"?

Doubt I'll read it
It's nearly 400 pages, so I doubt it. I'm frantic with the dissertation work and all. Maybe if I find out it's some obscure roman à clef based on someone really compelling.
