Reduce, Reuse (and reuse and reuse) and Recycle

I just realized that I have used the same cardboard boxes (salvaged from grocery and other retail stores) in not one, not two, not three, but FOUR MOVES:

Portland Ave. apartment in St. Paul --> Cushing Cir. apartment in St. Paul

Cushing Cir. apartment --> Decatur, GA

Decatur, GA --> Greenville, NC

Greenville, NC --> Lafayette, LA

Hooray for me. Four will probably be it, though, because I don't think we have a dedicated storage space for them in the new digs.

Five and Counting

Glad to know that others are recycling their boxes from each move. I scored a bunch of book boxes when I lived in Lafayette, IN, where I was good friends with the local bookstore owners. Since then, I've moved from Indiana to Champaign, Illinois, to Decatur, GA, to Hyattsville, MD, and finally to Fayetteville, NC (my second place of residence named after Lafayette). I've also loaned the boxes to at least two other people making local moves....

Congrats on the move

For some boxes...

I think at least a few of my boxes have made it through five moves, as I recall. Definitely at least these four moves, though.
